The e-mail notice about this code wasn’t even sent until 15 minutes after the code expired! More and more often, the notices don’t arrive until the codes are close to expiring.
The mails are sent out immediately after the code is posted. If there’s any delay in their arrival, it’s unfortunately out of our control.
SMS alerts (through twitter) are generally a lot more reliable. Would definitely recommend using them in addition if you can.
